Are you ready for a fun evening as the summer nears? This event is for the youth of The Hague. Join us for a city walk and meet new people along the way. Together, we will enjoy a delicious picknick to bring young locals and newcomers together.
Location and time
Meeting point in front of Het Nutshuis, Riviervismarkt 5
Wednesday, June 19, walk-in between 18:00 – 18:20. The event ends at 20:30.
What to expect?
- Discover cultural landmarks; visit several landmarks that highlight the diversity of The Hague.
- Meet new people; exchange ideas and culture with young locals and newcomers (18 – 25 years) from the city. Who knows? You might gain a new friend.
- Cozy picnic; conclude the walk with a relaxing picnic at our office, complete with free snacks and drinks.
- Inclusive atmosphere; a welcoming and relaxing environment where everyone can be themselves.
Come alone or invite your friends. All are welcome, and we will provide snacks and drinks for free. We look forward to seeing you there!

We are Samen Hier (Together Here), a national movement of people and organizations committed to creating a welcoming society for people forced to flee. Together with engaged citizens, we work to provide a warm welcome for newcomers in the Netherlands. For young newcomers, we created the Samen Hier Student community in which we connect young people in The Hague with young newcomers in order to create a network of genuine friendships and equal exchange.
